After working for Bethlehem Steel in their Cleveland sales office, Ron Gehring was searching for a career that would enable him to use his sales ability to help others. In January 1961, Ron opened his Brecksville insurance agency representing the State Farm Insurance Company. A growing company offering solid products and great service, State Farm has consistently garnered high ratings from consumers throughout the past eighty-five years. After graduating from Bowling Green State University, Ron's son, Scott, decided to continue in the State Farm tradition and became an agent in 1992.
