The history of Hollo's PaperCraft Inc. begins as Hollo Printing in 1948 when Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hollo, newlyweds at the time, opened a small print shop in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to providing professional printing services, they also started to sell scratch pads made from their excess paper. A few years later they purchased an envelope and paper company, after which they moved their shop to W. 110th and Lorain where they became Hollo's PaperCraft. In 1975 Mr. and Mrs. Hollo opened a second location in Brunswick, Ohio, and today Hollo's PaperCraft continues to be owned and operated by eight members of the Hollo family. We met with Linda Fifer, one of Mr. and Mrs. Hollo's daughters, recently, and listened as she provided this overview of Hollo's PaperCraft's offerings;
Hollo's PaperCraft Inc. is a one-of-a-kind store offering all types of paper products. We carry scratch pads, paper, imported handmade paper, scrapbooking supplies, envelopes, stamping, and art/drafting, school, and office supplies. We have party supplies, bags, and a line of boxes. Due to our wide selection and competitive pricing we have customers come from all over the United States and abroad.
We stock all sizes of standard business envelopes, greeting card envelopes, and blank wedding invitations and envelopes that our customers customize on their home printers. Our handmade paper is imported from Thailand, China, Japan, and the Philippines. It is a very delicate paper used for cards, invitations, and book binding. Customers have used this distinctive paper as wallpaper and mounted in wooden frames as room dividers.
Customers are in awe when they see the huge selection of paper, envelopes, and paper products we have in stock. We are shipping an 1,800 pound order to Pennsylvania today to a customer who cannot find prices better than ours anywhere else. Even with the freight he is paying, it is still cheaper for him to buy it here than to purchase it closer to his own location. Although our wide selection and competitive pricing brings customers from all over the United States, Canada, Tibet, Egypt, Africa, China, New Zealand, Australia, Guam, and many other countries to our store, we only ship to locations within the United States.
